Fall Market

This was one of the best I've ever seen. Union Square was bursting with fall—with colorful vegetables and fruits, including pumpkins. I strolled through it for a while on Saturday, looking at all of the produce and the flowers, and taking in the season. Here's to the Union Square farmer's market, where I celebrated fall in full, cup of apple cider in hand.  I'm keeping my promise to enjoy this season to its fullest, because autumn in New York is really something.

Union Square Farmer's Market

I've written about New York farmer's markets before, and how they're an essential part of the City. Taking advantage of the fact that I would be going to "The Strand" this past weekend, I stopped by the Union Square Farmer's market. I enjoyed how colorful and vibrant the foods and the people were, and I was more than glad to find affordable and beautiful flowers there as well. I can't wait to see what it'll have to offer as the seasons change. Until then, I'll delight in rows of sunflowers.

Manhattan Errands

Running with the rest of the City.

(It turns out that this is my 100th post! A good boomark indeed.)

Saturday

Spring buds. Union Square. The W. Heaven in a candle (possibly the best I have ever smelled). Contemplating. The Empire State in Easter colors (or so I heard a stranger say). Another lovely Saturday.
