End of the Month

The month has had its highs (awards, warm weather) and lows (stress, loneliness), but just like that, it's the end of May.

It's not that I won't hold on to some of the happiest moments of this month, but I am eager for mid-June, when I'll kick off my summer with a birthday party, a reunion with old friends, and a chamber music concert. I'm equally excited to take advantage of the season in the City, with summer movies and food, Shakespeare (maybe), and  a Jazz Age Lawn Party (hopefully. Both are scheduled for weekends when I'll be out of town. I can always hope for rain, right?) It will all start in just two more weeks. Just two more.
