One book ago, I read that there is "a feeling about [Brooklyn]. You have to live in Brooklyn to know." There's something to Manhattan too, though, and this month, I got the best of both worlds.
Last night, I treasured little things, like reading my journal from 2005 and laughing so hard, like planning little delights for the weekend (maybe a waffle with yogurt, maybe The Hungarian Pastry Shop), and like feeling that spring will get here soon and everything will be ok.
With that, I'll settle into (what I think will be) the start of a beautiful long weekend.
