Brooklyn Botanic Gardens

Brooklyn Botanic Gardens was free today.

Violinist for "Amble Day." I wish he had played classical music, but it was still nice.

I was really excited to finally see a Redwood in person! 

These wooden structures reminded me of the movie version of "Where the Wild Things Are." 

Tiger Lilly with giant lilly pads. This Tiger Lilly was the first to bloom in three years! 

Banana plant!

This was an awesome solar-powered music box that played very calm, heavenly music. 
It captured the loveliness of my weekend so far.
